Brief Description:
One of the largest family owned independent retailers in the UK, currently have 2x Sales Manager vacancies within their busy store based in South Birmingham. Successful applicants could simply be looking for the opportunity to progress within Retail Sales. For a committed target driven individual, you must possess energy / enthusiasm and most of all have a passion for selling quality products to the general public. You must be self motivated and driven to achieve the highest results for your Store and the Company.
Responsibilities:
• Achieve / exceed individual sales targets (selling direct to customers)
• Help the business to achieve / exceed Store Targets
• Maximise KPI Potential
• Selling added-value Products
• Increase Average Order Values per potential customer
• Carrying out basic merchandising
• Highlight Team training requirements
• Learning and maintaining a detailed knowledge of the Company’s products and services
• Being aware of what the company's Competition is offering and communicating this to management when possible
• Weekend and Bank Holiday working is an essential requirement of the business
Key Skills:
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Possessing good business sense
• The ability to motivate and lead a team of sales staff
• Ability to show initiative and enthusiasm
• Excellent communication and 'people skills’
• Professional customer service attitude
• Analytical skills
• Basic Keyboard Skills
• Experience of the furniture Industry or similar would be an advantage but is not essential
Rate Of Pay: £18,000 Per Annum Salary + Commission. O.T.E of £30k per annum. Guaranteed salary at the rate of £18,000 p.a. for first three months, while order bank for commissions is established
Annual Holiday Entitlement: 20 days per year + Bank Holidays
